VARCAS is a six piece Extreme Melodic Metal band from Mumbai. 'Varcas' , which is a sanskrit word, simply suggests Vital Power which is the key essence to life. They choose to spread this power through their music . All band members are influenced by several different genres and styles of musical composition all the way from jazz to extreme metal. With all this talent put together in one band what you could expect is brutal drums beats accompanied by aggressive guitar riffs & vocals that progress with the solos & the Indian keyboard patterns that further amplify the bands Indian Mythological theme and help create music that can not only wreck mayhem in the moshpit but also send the crowd into a subtle melodic trance. The current line up includes :-Atul Pandey on the Vocals, Nayan Kawale on the Lead Guitars , Ivin Viegas on the Rhythm Guitars, Ajitesh Pandey on the Keyboards, Mihir Bhende on the Drums and *Somesh Prakasam on the (Session) Bass Guitar.
