The most famous resident reptile in the Everglades in the US state of Florisa is probably the American alligator. But the park is also home to many non-native invasive species like the Burmese Python. This recent arrival is the focus of a campaign to rid the wetland habitat of all non Indigenous newcomers, which is said to destroy the area's ecosystem. Now wildlife officials have issued hunting licenses in the hope that the Python numbers can be brought under control.Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports from the Everglades National Park
