    Well if you liked "the godfather" movie you may like Darkness 2. You play as Jackie Estacado a gangster who has a demonic power residing inside him. Facing near death Jackie decides to unleash this power to save himself. He is plagued by the death of his girlfriend Jennie and believes she's still alive. Darkness 2 is a horror FPS released on february 7, 2012 by 2K games and contains lot of gore and some gruesome scenes.

    During the game Jackie is briefed and assisted by his loyal gang members. The game has lot of cutscenes that'll give you a feeling that you're going through a movie.

    In addition to some weapons(which are not in lot variety) you'll have access to two demonic arms or tentacles(whatever you like to call them) to perform additional actions like throwing objects at enemies, break open doors, execute enemies and so forth.

    Killing enemies will give you soul credits with which you can purchase new powers or skills.

    Action is great as you can dual wield weapons and perform executions by grabbing your enemies. Executions will give you higher essence points that you can use to upgrade skills. This gets kind of additive ;).

    The villain of the game is called "Victor". He wants to gain the darkness within Jackie for himself ;p.

    The game is entertaining with some cool dialogs and voice acting.

    Demonic arms and powers cannot be used when Jackie is in highly lit areas. So you need to either destroy the light sources of move through those areas quickly.

    Graphics are not the best but action and fight scenes are fast and cool.

    There'd be a small demon tagging with you on most missions and assisting you.

    If you like a movie-like play and are fine with horror and blood then Darkness 2 is worth playing.
