Hundreds of thousands of protesters demanding a new blasphemy law blocked highways and fought running battles with police on Sunday, leaving at least 10 people dead and hundreds injured in the Bangladeshi capital. Al Jazeera's Kimberly Vinnel reports.
At least one person died and several people were injured on Sunday, after hardline Islamic activists calling for the enactment of an anti-blasphemy law clashed with Bangladesh police, in the capital Dhaka. (May 5)
