Before his death last month, Venzuelan President Hugo Chavez said he would return about 250,000 hectares of ancestral land to an indigenous group.
Now, the Yukpa people are pushing the government to fulfill that promise.
There are some local landowners and ranchers who are resisting the government's agrarian reform movement.
