A political analyst tells Press TV that Ankara government involvement in the ongoing crisis across Syria will fan the flames of Kurd violence inside Turkey.
The comments came after Kurdish protesters clashed with police in Turkey during demonstrations marking the 14th anniversary of the arrest of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ocalan. Police fired tear gas and used water cannon to disperse protesters in two towns in Hakkari province, while in Mardin three demonstrators and a police officer were injured in clashes.
Press TV has conducted an interview with William Jones, Executive Intelligence Review, to further discuss the issue.
