Afghan President Hamid Karzai is back home from a three-day to the U-S with plenty of news to Afghan people.
He said that Bagram detention center will be no more under the control of Americans and Afghans themselves would run the jail. Karzai also insisted that Afghanistan will be safe after U.S forces pull out of the country.
On the streets, Afghans are happy about the news. People say they were hoping that no more Afghans would be detained by foreign troops.
Bagram prison is a very sensitive issue in Afghanistan. A large number of Afghans are said to have been put behind bars by U.S forces without being told the reason.
