A bus driver stopped her vehicle to save over 40 passengers before fainting last Thursday in Changsha, capital city of central China's Hunan Province. Sheng Li felt intense pain due to hyperventilation syndrome. About 10 meters away from a bus station, Sheng collapsed on the steering wheel after having stopped the bus, pulled the hand brake and opened the door for the passengers. Passengers pinched Sheng's acupuncture points and called an ambulance immediately after finding the driver had fainted. At present, Sheng Li is in a stable condition, but very weak. She said the actions she took before fainting were what she ought to do as a bus driver.
