On Thursday, the UN General Assembly voted on a resolution that backs the Arab League's plan to have Syrian President Bashar al-Assad hand over power. This vote comes after Bashar's government has been condemned for using violence against the Syrian people. Although China and Russia rejected the idea, the two countries claim the violence in the country is a two way street and the resolution is one-sided. Now Washington war hawks and members of al-Qaeda are calling to arm the Syrian anti-government rebels. Here is our report.
