Twenty five Chinese workers in Egypt have been released after they were seized by Bedouin tribesmen, in the latest in a series of abductions of Chinese workers abroad.
The kidnappers had been demanding the release from jail of five members of their group. They also wanted Egypt to stop exporting gas to Israel.
The workers appeared in good health after their release. The circumstances of their release remain unclear.
