Is Karni Sena Above The Indian Constitution ? | News Today With Rajdeep
A day before the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat, several parts of North India remained tensed as Karni Sena continued its protest against the movie. In a shocking incident, a violent mob has also attacked and pelted stones at a school bus carrying kids, during the protests against the movie in Gurugram. Meanwhile, the Multiplex Association of India said that its members would not screen the controversial film in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. The association represents 75 per cent of the multiplex owners in the country. The decision is an outcome of the vandalism and threats by Rajput and other fringe outfits demanding a ban on the film.
