Demonstrations have been held in several countries in support of the people of Gaza.
Protesters took to the streets of the Yemeni capital Sana'a, condemning Israel and calling on Egypt to open its border with the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Taking part in the Sana'a march, Abdulrahman Al-Selwi said: "We're here to show solidarity with our brothers in Gaza, who're blockaded and abused by the Zionists in collaboration with our Arab brothers."
In Tel Aviv, Israelis protested the continuing fighting and called for an end to the blockade on Gaza. The protest, expected to be larger, had originally been canceled by police, saying the security situation didn’t allow for a large gathering. A small minority of war opponents exists in Israel, but they complain of being silenced.
