The US State Department is echoing the statements of the interim authorities in Kiev, accusing two Russian journalists of aiding and abetting terrorists. Oleg Sidyakin and Marat Saichenko work for LifeNews, a Russian-based news channel, and were captured by Ukrainian military forces Sunday. Kiev accuses the pair of transporting anti-aircraft missiles in the trunk of their car. Last Wednesday, the journalists shot video of military helicopters with UN insignia being used in eastern Ukraine, which supporters have suggested is the reason they are being detained. RT's Gayane Chichakyan questioned State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki over the ongoing situation.
