Australian authorities say they have found two objects on satellite images that could be debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane.
The objects were spotted approximately 2,500 km south of Perth in the southern Indian Ocean.
A Norwegian ship has reached the area in the southern Indian Ocean where plane debris from the missing Malaysia airliner may have been spotted.
Two objects found in the southern Indian Ocean are suspected to be part of a Malaysian airliner missing for 12 days, a government minister said on Thursday. "I can confirm we have a new lead," Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters in Kuala Lumpur, where the investigation into the missing airliner is based. He was speaking after Australia sent aircraft to investigate two objects spotted by satellites floating in the sea. Report by Andrea Lilly.
