-- dragon lord--
Helicopter aerials show planes and cars underwater in Redhill, Surrey. Strong winds and heavy rain have caused disruption throughout the UK overnight, killing two people, causing severe localised flooding and cutting transport links and power to thousands. The victims, a man in Cumbria and a woman in Gwynedd, have not yet been named. In Dorset, some 25 people had to be rescued from their cars by fire crews after getting trapped by floodwaters. The storms are far from over, however, with Scotland and Northern Ireland set to face the brunt of the weather later on Christmas Eve. Report by Katie Lamborn.
