In Egypt, the standoff between protesters who are holed up in a mosque and security forces continues. Hundreds have barricaded themselves in the building and are refusing to come out over fear of arrest. Dozens were seen leaving the mosque however and there have been reports of gunfire too. Bel Trew reports.
The Egyptian army, which late on Friday surrounded the al-Fath mosque in central Cairo, has entered the building to negotiate with supporters of arrested President Mohammed Morsi who took refuge inside.
Eyewitnesses say there may be 1000 people inside, who fled Friday's violence and who came under siege from supporters of the army, and barricaded themselves in.
